Over more than five decades we've built up the ability to cater for all categories of vocational driver training, Driver CPC, forklift training and various other industrial and plant machinery training, alongside site safety and working at height courses.\n\nOur own training centre hosts a private DVSA test facility, so learners can train and take their test at the same site. We can arrange driver medicals, revision material and theory tests before training begins. Most of our courses can also be delivered on-site at a customer's own premises across the country, with qualifications awarded to an accredited standard or as in-house certification.\n\nWe accredit our qualifications to several of the UK's leading awarding bodies and offer funding options and free accommodation on driver training courses for learners travelling more than 70 miles.","specialism":"Vocational driver, forklift and industrial safety training","categories":[{"slug":"vocational-regulated-skills","name":"Vocational & Regulated Skills","primary":true,"offers":["training"],"distinguishes_training_and_coaching":false,"sub_categories":[{"slug":"transport-manager-cpc","name":"Transport manager CPC"},{"slug":"construction-skills-cscs","name":"Construction skills / CSCS"},{"slug":"forklift-materials-handling","name":"Forklift and materials handling"},{"slug":"mobile-access-towers-pasma","name":"Mobile access towers (PASMA)"},{"slug":"groundworks-civil-engineering","name":"Groundworks and civil engineering"},{"slug":"plant-operation-cpcs-npors","name":"Plant operation (CPCS / NPORS)"},{"slug":"pcv-passenger-transport","name":"PCV passenger transport"},{"slug":"lgv-hgv-driver-cpc","name":"LGV/HGV and Driver CPC"},{"slug":"powered-access-mewp-ipaf","name":"Powered access / MEWP (IPAF)"},{"slug":"warehouse-logistics","name":"Warehouse and logistics"},{"slug":"confined-spaces","name":"Confined spaces"},{"slug":"lifting-operations-slinger-signaller","name":"Lifting operations and slinger/signaller"}]},{"slug":"health-safety","name":"Health & Safety","primary":false,"offers":["training"],"distinguishes_training_and_coaching":true,"sub_categories":[{"slug":"working-at-height","name":"Working at height"},{"slug":"fire-safety","name":"Fire safety"},{"slug":"driver-mobile-plant","name":"Driver and mobile plant safety"},{"slug":"construction-cdm","name":"Construction and CDM"},{"slug":"first-aid","name":"First aid"},{"slug":"manual-handling","name":"Manual handling"}]}],"based_in":{"town":"Abergavenny","county":"Monmouthshire","region":"Wales","country":"United Kingdom"},"coverage":{"nationwide":false,"regions":["Wales","South West"],"towns":["Newport","Cardiff","Merthyr Tydfil","Hereford","Gloucester"]},"formats":["In-person","Onsite","Bespoke","E-learning"],"funding":[],"accreditations":["DVSA","PASMA","RTITB","NPORS"],"pricing":null,"courses":[{"title":"IPAF Powered Access MEWP","description":"IPAF Powered Access MEWP: 3A (Mobile Vertical) & 3B (Mobile Boom) over 1 day, at HOV Safety Training, Blackwood, £270 per person, includes VAT & exam fees","formats":["In-person"]},{"title":"Health & Safety in a Construction Environment","description":"Health & Safety in a Construction Environment (including CSCS test) over 1 day, at HOV Safety Training, Blackwood, £246.90 per person, includes VAT & exam fees.","formats":["In-person","Onsite"]},{"title":"Transport Manager CPC","description":"Transport Manager CPC (Road Haulage) over 9 days, at Hereford, £1,680 per person, includes VAT & exam fees.","formats":["In-person","Onsite"]},{"title":"Transportation of Dangerous Goods (ADR)","description":"Transportation of Dangerous Goods (ADR): Class 7 Radioactive over 1 day, at HOV Safety Training, Blackwood, £7 per person, includes VAT & exam fees.","formats":["In-person","Onsite"]},{"title":"Telescopic Materials Handler","description":"Telescopic Materials Handler (In-House) over 1 day, at Highways Depot, £1,020 per person, includes VAT & exam fees.","formats":["In-person"]},{"title":"NPORS Plant Machinery Experienced Worker","description":"Our NPORS Experienced Worker Tests provide an assessment-only option for Experienced Plant Machinery Operators, including Excavators, Dumpers, Telescopic Handlers and more.","formats":["In-person"]},{"title":"CITB Health and Safety in Construction (CSCS Green Labourers Card)","description":"The Health and Safety in Construction qualification is essential for obtaining a CSCS card, proving workers understand site safety rules, reducing risks, and ensuring a safer working environment for all.","formats":["In-person"]},{"title":"Vehicle Mounted Lorry Loader Crane Training","description":"Our industry-recognised Lorry Loader (HIAB) training is essential for safe and efficient lifting operations.
