Cookie Policy
This explains the cookies and similar technologies Skillyard uses, and how you can control them. We keep our use of them minimal.
Last updated July 2026.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device by websites you visit. Similar technologies, such as local storage, let a site keep small amounts of information in your browser. Both are used for a range of purposes, from making a site work to understanding how it is used.
Essential cookies and storage
These are needed for the site to work and are always on. They do not track you for advertising.
We use them to keep you signed in when you have an account, to protect our forms against automated abuse through Cloudflare Turnstile, and to remember your shortlist of saved trainers. Your shortlist is kept in your browser's local storage on your own device, and is not sent to us.
Analytics cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, so we can improve it. These cookies are not essential, and we only set them if you agree. You can accept or reject them through our cookie controls, and you can change your choice at any time.
The information these cookies collect is used in aggregate to see things like which pages are popular and how people move through the site. We do not use it to identify you personally.
Controlling cookies
You can manage non-essential cookies through our cookie controls on the site. You can also control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them, though blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site working. Guidance on managing cookies is available in your browser's help pages.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if the cookies we use change. Where changes are significant, we will make that clear on the site.
