Skillyard visitor numbers
Skillyard launched on 20 October 2026. These are our statistics since then. This page is auto-generated from the website counts. No one types the numbers in or edits them. Nothing is dressed up, you get the numbers straight from the server. Stats run to the end of 29 October 2026 and the page refreshes every hour.
Skillyard does not track its visitors. We made a choice not to track, because buyers don't want to be tracked and chased after they've visited the site. The downside of no tracking is that we don't have detailed information about visitors' movements on the site. All the stats below are inferred from the information we can see, and the counts may contain small inaccuracies, both up and down.

How people arrive on Skillyard
Where people arrived from when they visited Skillyard.
- Direct (typed URL, bookmarks, social media, apps)96%
- Search engines3%
- Other websitesunder 1%
- LinkedInunder 1%
- Other social mediaunder 1%
Most arrivals carry no record of where they came from. Browsers send no identifying mark when someone types the address or uses a bookmark. Links opened from emails or from apps such as LinkedIn and WhatsApp usually arrive the same way, so all of those count as direct.
AI assistants
When someone asks an AI assistant about training and it reads a Skillyard page, or searches our open API, to answer them, we count it as an AI assistant visit. The counts below are the AI assistants which were properly labelled with where they came from.
- ChatGPT80%
- Claude20%
Some assistants answer from a search engine's index, or fetch pages without saying who they are, so not every assistant visit gets counted.
AI crawlers
AI companies also send crawlers to read the web for their search tools. Since launch they have fetched 27,096 pages and API results from Skillyard. They are not people and are not counted in any of the figures above. By company:
- Amazon77%
- Meta19%
- Perplexity3%
- OpenAI2%
- ByteDanceunder 1%
How to read these numbers
- A visit is one person on one day. A second visit from the same person (IP address) on teh same day is not counted. Someone who comes back the next day counts again. Someone who looks at twenty pages in one afternoon counts once. We work this out without the use of cookies and keep nothing that identifies anyone beyond the day itself. Our privacy policy explains how.
- Search engines, link previews, monitoring tools and AI crawlers are counted separately and never appear as visits. Our own visits are left out too.
- A listing view is a person opening a trainer's listing, so one visitor can sometimes account for several.
- Website clicks count the link through to a trainer's own website and nothing else. Buyers who email or phone a trainer straight from the listing are not counted, because those details go directly to the trainer. We also can't tell how long a visitor spent on your site, whether they contacted you or if they came straight back. We can only tell that they clicked a listing link.
- Every figure comes from the Skillyard server logs, with some clever maths applied. We don't install tracking cookies. Nothing on this page is typed by hand, rounded up or down, or adjusted.
