About
My name is David Culley, and I help accountants and finance professionals use artificial intelligence effectively and develop the human skills that AI will not replace. I'm a Fellow of both ACCA and the Institute of Leadership, and moved into professional education in 2006 following a finance career that included senior roles at John Lewis and AXA. In 2018, I founded Adept Training, an independent training company, and have since worked with professional bodies including AICPA & CIMA, ICAEW and ACCA, alongside clients such as the UK Cabinet Office, Ministry of Defence, NHS, BAE Systems, Legal & General and Shell. My courses combine practical AI literacy with the judgement, communication and leadership skills that are increasingly important in an AI-enabled workplace. My AI portfolio takes finance professionals from first principles through to implementation, regulation and ethics, while my wider programmes focus on finance business partnering and leadership development. Every course is practical, interactive and grounded in real-world challenges, ensuring that delegates leave with ideas and tools they can apply immediately in their work.
