We believe that many people and businesses are held back not by a lack of ability but by a lack of confidence and comfort talking about financial performance. Rather than speak up, question or challenge, people often stay quiet. Our training is designed to change that, making what can feel complex relatable and understandable, and increasing the commercial awareness of everyone who takes part. We work with organisations to design bespoke, in-house training programmes - things like finance for non-finance managers, budgeting and forecasting, and finance for executives and senior managers - delivered face-to-face, online, or through blended courses that combine self-study with live group sessions. We also run courses for individuals who want to build their own financial confidence, and offer flexible one-to-one coaching for people moving into roles that require a stronger grasp of financial reporting and decision-making. We see ourselves as subject-matter experts rather than specialist trainers alone - our trainers, like founder Martin Mellor, are chartered accountants with hands-on experience, and we take time to understand the specific pain points and barriers each client faces before designing a course around them. We have worked with organisations including Scottish Enterprise, Urenco, Atalian Servest, Teaching Personnel and Propertymark.
